Tyler Brown makes debut
in Ontario Pro Challenge Series Dodge Intrepid
PETERBOROUGH, ONTARIO - Waterdown racer Tyler Brown finally
got to turn some wheels in race mode in his 4B Racing Dodge
Intrepid on Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway, site
of round 2 of the Ontario Pro Challenge Series.
“It was great to get out there and run with the guys I will
race against very soon,” Brown said of his first night of
racing in his 4B Racing Dodge Intrepid.
While Brown is not ‘officially’ able to race until later in
the year, he was added as a ‘promoters option’ for round 2.
“The series let him run at the back of the pack to gain experience,”
team manager Darrell Brown said.
“It was a great learning experience for the whole team, and
we thank the series and the promoter for allowing us to join
the field at Peterborough.”
During the two heats and 20-lap feature, Brown showed he had
the pace to be competitive with other cars in the series.
“I have been practicing a lot with our Dodge,” Brown said.
“But to get out there in a real race was fantastic. I can’t
wait until I can join the series full time.”
Brown is scheduled for more practice laps when the series
hits Sunset Speedway this Saturday night.

Tyler Brown is a 13-year-old
racer from Waterdown, Ontario. He has completed seven years
of karting. He has started more than 225 races during his
career and has won, “One championship”, “Most Improved Driver
award”, and a “Team of the Year” award. At the local level
he has never finished lower than 5th in series points and
at the regional or national level he has never finished lower
than 10th.
