4B Racing was established in 1997, by Darrell Brown and family. Originally a Go- Kart racing team, with every family member taking competitive turns on track, the team’s focus eventually narrowed to oldest son Tyler. After 6 years of karting at the local, regional and national levels the team shifted their effort to oval track racing. With Tyler Brown’s move to the Pro Challenge Series in 2005, came the expansion of the team from a “mom and pop” team to a “crew”. Now in 2006, 4B Racing is now 9 crew members strong, supporting Tyler’s campaign in high powered “Late Model” stock cars.

4B Racing has a long standing record for support of community charities, which began with Big Brothers Big Sisters, with the team’s fundraising efforts being recognized annually since 1999. In 2005, 4B Racing took on an additional focus. The CanWest Raise a Reader program, a charity that promotes early literacy in children. This year, Tyler Brown and 4B Racing plan to continue their support of these worthwhile charities.
